Currency and GST
How It Works
All sales are made in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable. Conversion to other currencies will depend entirely on the conversion rates applied by the financial institution providing your payment service.
Our Shipping Policy
How It Works
We will ship by Australia Post or other freight providers. We can deliver anywhere in the world. We reserve the right to consent to fill any order. We will only ship once full payment has been received. Orders will be shipped within 5working days of payment being received. We will inform you within 10 working days of products on backorder. We cannot guarantee shipping times. Delivery within Australia usually takes 1-15 working days. Deliveries outside Australia can take between 2 - 6 weeks depending on where the product is being shipped. Shipping is calculated by weight and/or size of the parcel. Shipping rates are sometimes overestimated at time of purchase. The Sewing Bee will amend these rates when packing and processing the order to reflect the true value. You may be notified if changes are made to charges via e-mail once an order is processed. Individual country's duty & tax charges are the responsibility of the purchaser (The Sewing Bee Cafe does not bear responsibility for these charges). Delivery times are outside The Sewing Bee’s Control.
Our Return Policy
The Small Print
Please choose carefully when purchasing merchandise as there are special conditions that apply when returning merchandise. You must notify us by email immediately to thesewingbeecafe@gmail.com, if you intend to return goods, stating the reason for the return. All items must be returned within a reasonable time frame (but no longer than 15 days for Domestic sales or 6 weeks for International sales) in the products original state, with a copy of the invoice/proof of payment. Fabrics may not be cut, dyed, or washed from the original state. All fabric packs and kits must be complete. All packaging must be returned. We cannot accept the return of patterns or books due to copyright law. Refunds & exchanges will not be provided after delivery has occurred unless the item is proven to be faulty or does not match the description provided. Refunds will be at management's sole discretion. Shipping & handling charges will/are not included in refunds. Refunds will only be credited to the same credit card as used in the original purchase. Please send all returns to The Sewing Bee Cafe address as detailed on the contact us page. Goods must be returned to our store at your cost prior to any refund or exchange taking place. Proof of ID may be requested, and this ID must match the details that were provided at the time of the purchase.
Discount Vouchers
Our Policy
It is usual business practice not to apply discounts offered to all products. Not all products and classes are eligible for discounts or vouchers. Previously discounted products, sale items, specials, books, magazines, classes, kits, fabric packs, and speciality products are often priced at a level that doesn't allow for additional discounts. Management reserves the right to decide which products are eligible to be discounted. Management reserves the right to refuse a sale if there are errors or omissions in the pricing or shipping calculations. (Errors and Omissions Excepted). From time to time, some previously issued discount voucher may be revoked or replaced with other offers such as free shipping. Whether to honour a voucher is at the sole discretion of The Sewing Bee Cafe. Vouchers and discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, such as free shipping.

Your personal information: When you place an order through our site, we will hold your order information for our records only. Personal information volunteered to The Sewing Bee for Block of the Month or any other fabric is kept on file for the duration of the program or until customers opt-out of the program. As always, The Sewing Bee does not share this information with third parties.
Information we collect: We may collect information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, add an item to their cart, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. Users may be asked for, where appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.
